Album description:

This is my (and my boyfriend's!) flat on Norham Gardens, Oxford. It's rented, so we can't change very much. Also, having just started working, we have relatively little money to spend on furniture - so most things are Ikea or equally cheap! I intend on buying nicer pieces as we go.

Sallydiy, 2009-07-08

you've done a really good job here! your home is so light and homely, I get happy looking at your photos:-)

catzz, 2009-06-25

Just lovely! Your home is ten times better than any of the Ikea show rooms:-)

Hi I think you have done an absolutely fabulous job and I would keep to white with the lounge - as it is it looks really good but maybe not that comfortable. I love white it is so airy and light and your apartment has such a lovely appeal with the plants and all the colour. You have great taste.

I love yur pad! Nice with all the light that flows in from those beautiful windows and your collection of plants is nice. Love it! couch looks nice, but i guess not very comfy for two to cuddle in? ;)

bonbongirl responded 2009-06-25:

Exactly - I think we need something a bit comfier to watch tv on! I do actually love our current sofa, it's just not very solid. I don't think it was built to be a 'proper' long-term sofa!

Thanks btw. :)

You're right, the legs look better like that, but how weird that they are too wide? I love the Louis Ghost chair too, good choice!

Lazygal, 2009-05-09

I love the desk, i'm hoping that's from Ikea too?

bonbongirl responded 2009-05-09:

Yep. It's a Vika Amon table top (the 120x60cm one) with Vika Moliden legs. The legs were meant to be the 'other way around', but they're actually too wide! So we had to put holes into the table top to fit them, and I think I actually like it better this way. :) Also, am getting a Louis Ghost chair on Monday which I am SO excited about...
